Damien MoffreyDamien has over 20 years experience in accounting including his formative years with KPMG. The adage “not your typical accountant” certainly describes Damien well as his traditional accounting skills are well rounded by real business experience in Management Rights, working in his family’s hotel business, Browns Plains Tavern, where he learnt many valuable and practical lessons. Damien joined Baker Affleck Chartered Accountants in 1998, became a partner in July 2004 and took over as Managing Director when founding partner, Paul Affleck, retired in 2007. Since becoming Director, Damien has introduced a business development division, in-house financial solutions and has built a team dedicated to offering clients truly holistic and excellent service. Damien’s clients enjoy his in-depth knowledge of structuring, compliance and forensic accounting as well his incredible energy and passion for adding value for each and every client. Damien and Rebecca Moffrey have a daughter Piper, who is in year one at St. Hilda’s School and a three year old son, Harper.
