History of Baker Affleck Moffrey

Baker Affleck Moffrey has been operating in Surfers Paradise for over fifty years.
Established by Knox Richardson in 1957, the original business was located in Cavill Mall and traded as E K Richardson & Co.
Joseph Baker joined the business in 1964 and became a partner one year later.
In 1966 the business was relocated to Elkhorn Avenue.
Knox Richardson retired and Joseph Baker operated as a sole practitioner from 1971.
In 1974 the business was relocated to the "Parkrise Building" in Alison Street.
In 1978 Paul Affleck joined the business and became a partner in 1981. The business then changed its name to Baker Affleck.
Due to an expansion in team numbers, another shift occurred in June 1998 when the business was relocated to "Solac House" in Appel Street.
Joseph Baker retired from the business in June 1999.
Damien Moffrey joined the business in 1998 and became a partner in July 2004.
Paul Affleck retired from the business in January 2007.

Now with over 20 expert team members specialising in a diverse range of advisory and compliance fields, the strength and history of the business continues to shine.
